What kind of home are you looking for?
Five kinds of care, each with its own set of homes and its own questions to ask. Start wherever you are.
Featured Homes with Open Beds
Every listing shows how many beds are free. Ask for a tour and we’ll arrange it with the owner — you never have to cold-call a home.
How it works
Three steps, and a person on our side at every one of them.
Search your area
Pick a city and a type of care. Filter by what matters — pets, transportation, special diets, respite care.
Request a tour
Tell us who the care is for and two or three times you’re free. No phone tag, no forms blasted to five homes at once.
We set it up
We reach the owner, confirm a time, and send you the address. Visiting is always free.
Questions families ask us
Does it cost anything to use Finding Care Homes?
Not for families. Searching, requesting a tour, and visiting are all free. What you pay the home each month is agreed directly between you and the owner — we never take a cut.
Why isn't the street address shown on a listing?
A care home is somebody's home. We show the city and county so you can judge the distance, and we send the exact address once a visit is arranged.
Why are there no reviews?
A six-bed home might get two reviews in a year, which tells you almost nothing and can be badly unfair to the home. We'd rather show you real, current availability and let you judge for yourself on a visit.
How fast will I hear back after requesting a tour?
Usually within one business day. If a home is full or doesn't respond, we'll tell you that rather than leaving you waiting.
What if there are no homes listed in my area?
Tell us what you need and we'll go find it. We're adding homes across California every week.
Own a care home? Fill your beds without a placement agent.
List your home for a flat annual fee and get tour requests from families already searching your city — instead of paying roughly $6,000 every time an agent fills a bed.
